Discount applied at checkout when promo code AFTERPAYDAY15 is applied. Can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Items that can not be added to cart are excluded from this offer.

There are some pretty good deals, especially so on already reduced items. Also I tried adding a few different things to the cart to make sure the code worked.

Unfortunately I just bought a sub from them last week. Just typical of my luck, lol. Not too annoyed though as I got a good price and am only out a few bucks.

Here are some quick links with the price after using the promo code;

  • Finally, no more sb1000

    • are you upgrading?

  • +2

The PB2000pro comes out and great value

    • does it worth extra $$ over PB1000 PRO?

  • +1

Not a bad price for the Sonos arc full set also

    • +2

Definitely a good deal, I added it to the links. Thanks.

  • +1

Wow, even works on clearance items…

"Open box" Monitor Audio Silver 200 floorstanders down to $1,496 - I'd be tempted if I was in Melbourne & could pick up!

    • +1

Why not get them delivered? It's included in the price.

      • +4

I'd rather hear them first… not that I was in the market for new speakers this week/month/year, but I was eyeing up the Silver 200's or 300's as options for my next upgrade

        • +1

Fair enough. I thought you may have heard them and was looking to buy.

  • +2

Some good pricing there, KEF LS50 ii at $3650.

I just dropped a wad of cash on a the Sony A95k. Not sure more electronics will go do well with the wife

  • +5

Basically "free" rear speakers for the Sonos Arc full set.
    $1500 for Arc
    $1100 for Sub

Yes, you can get the IKEA x Sonos rears for cheaper, but you wouldnt bother with this deal.

  • Nice find! Does anyone have recommendations for a subwoofer to go with KEF LS50 Wireless?

    • Depends on your use, budget and expectations. A KEF KC62? Great reviews and should be easy to blend with your speakers.

      • +1

Whoops those are definitely things I should've mentioned.
Using them in master bedroom mostly for music, little bit of movies, budget is $1000-$1500, expectations … quality bass?
The KC62 would be perfect, but it's unfortunately out of my budget for sure

        • +2

That helps, lol. Have a look at a REL T/5X or REL T/7X. There are plenty of reviews on these and they are highly regarded for music.

$1189 and $1699 respectively using the above deal.

          Full specs here.

          • +1

@revheadgl: Thanks for the recommendations! I'll have a look into those.

        • +4

Also check out the SVS 3000 Micro - similar size to the KC62, so would be great for a bedroom

          • +1

@Stzaa83: Good thinking, I forgot about that one! Comes down to $1261 with the deal.

          • @Stzaa83: $1200-odd is a great price for the 3000 Micro - best it's been before permanent price rise last year

    • Definitely the rel. Lift the sound to next level.

  • Better to get 1 PB2000 PRO or 2 PB1000 PRO?

    • +2

Do you have the space to put the two subs on opposite sides of the room? Usually two is good for one at the front of the room and one at the back of the room. Otherwise the PB2000 Pro is the way to go. 2 Subs will give you more balance but the PB2000 Pro will probably thump harder.

    • +1

Reviews suggest 2x 1000 Pro is better unless you get 1x 2000 Pro and have in mind buying another 2000 Pro in the future.

I have done the latter. Ordered the PB-2000 Pro with the intention if it goes well to buy another in the future.

  • They sell headphones too.

Do you need to have afterpay for the code to work?

DT 900 Pro X is $369, after 15% off it's $313.65. Other places selling for $299. NO DEAL.

  • +1

I have the PB2000 (non pro) which is still a beast. Don't buy the SB1000 Pro if you want it for home theatre, it's only good for music which you want sealed for, but you want the 'PB'1000 Pro (Ported Box) for home theatre as you it to get the deep extension bass and frequency range.

    • +9

Honestly it depends on room size. The SB1000 is fine for small rooms. It works great in our little apartment, the compact size was a big drawcard for me. I do agree the bass extension is limited compared to how low the PB goes, it also means less chance of the neighbours absolutely killing us during movie night when their place starts rattling.

So overall, if you live in an apartment and you want a great all-rounder sub for HT and music, I think the SB1000 cannot be beaten. I think new SB1000 Pro version with the slightly larger amp and enclosure size giving that little bit of extra extension down to 20hz is the perfect upgrade for this kind of sub.

      • Just got the sb1000 pro to go with a pair of Martin Logan bookshelf speakers that are used for 70% music, 30% media at one end of a long living at space.. hopefully I haven't cooked it considering my setup 😬

        • You'll definitely be fine. Especially given how much music you listen to.

  • +1

finally found one after years of waiting for a decent price, thankyou for the free delivery as well.

  • SVS SB1000 Pro or Rel HT1205 ?

    • That is a good question. I cant give you any direct comparisons from my experience, however,
I have a REL HT1003 and I think its brilliant. Despite the size difference and on paper spec, It definitely gets down a bit lower, is punchier and tighter than the much larger Polk HTS12 I also have. Also gets seriously loud with no audible complaints or distortion. The 1205 can only be better.

There is a good in depth review of the 1205 on youtube.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=LGvFEQcpjuE

      Plus some good reviews here;

      https://www.avforums.com/reviews/rel-ht-1205-subwoofer-revie…

      https://www.homecinemachoice.com/content/rel-ht1205-subwoofe…

    • I own both, if for movie sb1000 if any music at all Ht1205 The Rel is faster and more detailed. SVS suffer from bass smearing for music. Movie SVS probably gives more rumble but then if you are getting a sub for movie then ported sub is the way to go.

    • +1

i have the REL HT1205, can recommend, really rounded out my set up, works great with both home theatre and music. I went in to a shop to hear both the SVS and REL, and took the REL home.

    • Just ordered the PB1000 pro. My main use was going to be movies so i went with the ported model. I think from a price perspective you should be comparing the PB model with the Rel. And whether you ll be using it more for movies or Music.

  • I used this to price match a Rotel A10 at JB. Got it delivered for $504

    • Do you think it would be a good fit for Klipsch rp600ms? I am looking a decent new or used amp for a stereo setup.

      • It should be a good a pairing. Also this would be the cheapest class AB amp you can get from a reputable audio brand.

I've read reviews that say the Klipsch R51M tweeters get a little too piercing with bad amplification. Not sure if the same would extend to your speakers.

        • The RP series is considerable warmer compared to the Reference series speaker you mentioned. I think it should be fine. Also the price you mentioned come even lower than the 15% off. Did you have to negotiate with JBhifi to get that price?

  • +1

SVS subs are GOAT. Highly recommend. Definitely get a PB series for home theatre/movies, not a SB.

  • +5

FYI: You can apply the code and not use Afterpay to check out and still get the discount.

  • Nice! Just saved $400 on a receiver

  • Got a notification that the sb1000 pro (gloss black) is actually on back order 😑

    • Same for the PB1000pro ash

  • A friend who ordered the Sonos Arc set has also been advised theyre OOS on the Sonos One SL pairs, and Arc soundbar (black) and is on back order.

    Expect delays.

  • +3

Just ordered a SVS Micro 3000. Decided why not

    • Jealous. If I could have stretched the budget for the 3000 micro I def would have, looks like a great performer considering the size 😭

    • well played, wont be this cheap again any time soon. Hasnt been since initial covid price rises. good score! I've got one, tis ace

    • And it came in already.

Absolutely a baby size, but in my small living room it makes some noise.

  • +1

I ordered an SVS PB 2000 pro and a SVS soundpath isolation system and both are on backorder.
I hope they don't cancel my order at a later date lol!

  • Thanks OP - some of the best prices across their range I've seen following stuff over the past few years, period! Buy now people! Ha…. now, of course I need a 2nd sub (checks bank account)

    • Haha, I am in the same boat, considering a second sub too! But my bank account definitely says no.

      • +1

        Tax return? ;-)

  • +1

Check with your local shop to see if they will price match as I have done this today on the SVS PB1000 Pro and pick up today

  • +1

Unsure of my living arrangements for the next few years, with a high likelihood of apartment living. I'll get that SVS sub one day :(

  • I really need to go in and listen to one of these in store. I understand they are fantastic, but HOW much better would it be over my Polk DSW660pro that I got for half price from melbourne hifi a couple years back? https://www.melbournehifi.com.au/products/polk-audio-dsw-pro…

  • +1

Looks like they increased the price on the PB-1000 Pro - it was $1295 (after discount would be $1100.75), but now it's listed as $1,439.00 (after discount would be $1,223.15)

    • +1

Ditto with the PB-2000 Pro. Dang it, was trying to decide between the 1k and 2k, and now missed out!

      • +1

Shame! Same for me. I was trying to decided between two subs, connected to buy the 3000 micro and the price went up :(.
Will buy quicker next time there are cumulated discounts.

        • They were kind enough to offer me the original price on the PB-1000 pro, so worth asking what they can do

    • Bummer. Ozbargained….

  • Not sure what happened here. Code still works and still has 2 days to go.

    • Price has gone up

      • Ah, right. I didn't click through. I checked the item I have in my cart and it was still the same price and the code still applied. Just checked again a minute ago and it's still the same.

Looks like they have just put the prices on SVS gear back to full retail. Must have sold out.

  • Has anyone recieved their PB1000/2000 Pro from this deal?

    • +1

Got both the SB2000 and PB2000 Pro! SB2000 came slightly after.
