Cheapest Way to Still Access Discounted Village Tickets

Hey folks,

I have to watch a lot of films for my work in education, so I have benefited from the cheap Telstra Village tickets.

I am paying a stupid amount for my phone though. Is there any way to keep Telstra rewards access when leaving the network? (or staying on the network but paying less?) Or perhaps there is a similarly cheap way to access Village tickets without Telstra? :)

Thanks in advance!

I haven't been a Telstra customer for more than a year and still have access to rewards.

    Hi,

Have you looked at: RACT (if a member) for $14.64 Adult voucher?

    https://www.ract.com.au/membership/member-rewards/food-and-e…

Also… Telstra Plus Adult Tickets are going UP
    From
    23 August 2022 Adult tickets will be $13.50. :+(

Something out of the box, have you had a look at Libraries? They often have lots of movie discs to borrow and some have started offering streaming platforms too.

Maybe your work should be paying for these tickets anyway.

  • If you own a Toyota, the myToyota (Rewards) app lets you buy discount Village or Hoyts tickets. From memory Village were around $12.50. Hoyts around $14.00. This may work for anyone directly from the www.mytoyotamovies.com.au site, not sure if it asks for proof of Toyota.

  • Does thoe movies you need to watch has to be ones that in cinemas? A lot of movies can be watched in multiple streaming services.
