  • @stanstho

Oat milk still saying $26.40 for me.

  • If I order the beans, how long will shipping take to Sydney?

    • We ship via Australia post from our Melbourne warehouse so if you were to order today I would expect delivery mid week to Sydney.

      • Ok I will order now!

  • Hey kids, new to buying fresh delicious beans after buying a semi decent coffee machine. I’m about a quarter into a 1kg of fresh beans from Lime Blue and wondering wether buying 2 kgs of these beans is unwise re: bean freshness? Apologies for my newbness to all the espresso heads on the forum :)

You can pop the unopened bags into the freezer until you’re ready to use them.

      • Noice! I was never sure if the freezer storage was wise but I’ll take your word for it.

As long as the bags are unopened or vacuum sealed, they’re fine in the freezer. But once you’re ready to use them, I’d recommend defrosting in the fridge for a few hours, then store at room temp for daily usage.
I would avoid long term storage in the fridge or accessing beans in the freezer daily as the moisture/dew that can occur on the beans under such circumstances will rapidly degrade the beans

  • How does the Brazil Microlot: Sitio Tres Barras - My Single Friend compare with your regular blends in terms of roast/body/richness/sweetness/acidity? Is it best for milk coffee, espresso, both?

    • Hi Pavlos, we’re glad you asked! We have roasted this to a medium roast profile that highlights the coffees fruity and tea like qualities. The body is rich and creamy, with an orange sweetness and low acidity. Black coffees will be reminiscent of a Ceylon tea and milk coffees will remind you of Jaffa cakes. We recommend choosing either espresso roast (for richer flavour) or filter roast (for brighter fruit notes).

  • when are these beans roasted?

    • Hi Fleur, our beans are freshly roasted - so will be roasting the single origin today.

  • I like Market Lane and Lime Blue single origins when they are on special. Market Lane Marimbus is especially good.. These guys sound pretty legit so am i giving them a go. Bought 2 kgs for free shipping.

    • Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate the support!

  • Just bought 2 bags of the Brazil Sitio Tres Barras. Looking forward to it!

if anyone is still looking at this, I got it and it was good. Not overly fermenty like some colombians. Unsurprisingly it has a fermented flavour that was like a natural processes ethiopian but less fruity.

    • Cheers for the heads up. Mine just arrived today and although I haven't cracked it open yet, it struck me as weird that there was no roast date. Just came in here to make sure they were legit 🤣

      • the date on mine was at the very top of the bag but it was poorly inked and almost cut off
