    6 seasons only I want

  • +3

Was literally in the process of posting this.

Item is $170.27 but if you combine with the promo "Buy 2, save 6%" you can get additional discount to bring the price down to $164.58.

I looked for a couple mins and the cheapest item I saw was some name badges, but there may be another item cheaper or another more expensive item which may actually be of use to you.

a bit cheeky to call this the "complete" collection…

    • Why?

    • -1

Is the whole game of thrones media universe called "Game of Thrones" or "A Song of Ice and Fire", or is that just the seven books Martin is writing? The planet they are on isn't even given a name. Is House of Dragon a prequel to "Game of Thrones" or is it part of "Game of Thrones"?

I'll take What is Westeros for $200

        • Westeros is just the continent.

          • +1

@AustriaBargain: It's all that's needed really. Have you complained about middle earth, tamriel or azeroth? Have they ever been referred to as planets?

            • @King Steuart: I mean I get your point, but the others have names. Arda (or Earth even), Nirn, and I thought the planet was Azeroth.

Never watched any of it. But the actress has died blonde hair? Isn't that just.. Stupid and inappropriate for the timeline?

    • +6

Her hair is not dyed but a genetic trait of her ancestry. It was a truly excellent show with a crap last season.

      • -5

Thanks for the explanation. I fear my eyes will forever see it as really awfully done platinum blonde

        • +1

my main complaint from the trailer for house of the dragon is the blondes look so glaringly bad (in GoT Dany didnt look too bad I thought). Fingers crossed anyway

@perfectlydark: She's an up and coming Aussie, let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Go watch Upright with Tim Minchin. She was amazing in that.

  • Anyone has full scene of cersei walk of shame?

Why would anyone pay $170 for coasters?

    • +1

While the last few seasons were horse shit, that's just my opinion. Some people yet enjoyed them. I'll let others have their opinion.

Vhs version might come on sale soon too I hope

Warning this says it's the NTSC version and won't play in a lot of Aussie 4KUHD players and I don't know what the hell a 1-disc version is but this looks suspiciously cheap in all honesty. I've been on the lookout for this box-set for the last couple months and havent seen this any cheaper than the $355.99 that zavvi sell it for (and that ones the UK release, but at least it's PAL). Too much risk for me to purchase this one.

    • -1

Sorry, $320 here now for UK version: https://www.amazon.com.au/Game-Thrones-CSR-8pk-UHD/dp/B08DGR… this seems okay.

    • +3

It's 4K region free??? It works fine and 1 disc refers to it being 4K only, not 4K + Blu Ray

    • +4

It's "1-disc" meaning it's just the 4k Blu-ray and not a "4k + Blu-ray" combo that some movies come out with. This release ONLY contains the 4k versions of the episodes, not regular Blu-ray.

Also, 4k Blu-ray discs are completely region free - it WILL play in all Aussie 4k UHD players.

I can confirm I purchased this exact item from Amazon US via Amazon AU and it is 100% genuine with a WB digital code (this is redeemable for US residents only though) and plays perfectly in my "Aussie" Panasonic DP-UB820.

There is no reason to purchase the more expensive UK version when all 4k Blu-rays are region free.

      Edit: Beaten by Ben. :)

  • Nearly spent $300 on this just yesterday. So thank you!

Also bought Wolf of Wall Street and got the 6% off both 👌
