Join Gym Membership (Payment Info Required) & Get First 100 Days Free @ Selected Leisure Centres via Heighten Your Health

81

I found this while at my local Leisure Centre in Yarra Junction, Victoria. Seems to be segmented to more rural localities. A great deal. Ex and new members can use it. Click the link to see if your local council run leisure centre is hosting it. When I signed up it also discounted the joining fee to $0 instead of $60.

Stop at no cost within the first 100 days.
After 100 days normal notice periods apply.

When I read the T&C's I see this:
      - 30 days’ notice to cancel is required outside of the first 100 free days.
      - If you wish to cancel your membership within the first 100 days, your membership can only be cancelled from the date of your request and not in the future. Venue access will not be available from this date onwards.

Don't you love dodgy conditions that try and catch people out.
If you are offering 100 days free, make it 100 days free.
Not some clause offering only 70 days.

Lucky this will get indexed by google so people will be able to see the comments before they join.

I believe that these T&Cs have been misinterpreted. I cannot see where @spackbace is reading this.

If you cancel on the 99th. Then I believe it is free. Either way saving a bunch of money on sign up and fees for 3 months is still a win in my mind.

@spackbace: Looks as though it is different for each club maybe? You can still give notice at 30 days before the 100. Either way. Enjoy if you want some free gym. There is always the option to pay for 70 days. ;)

        • No, not 70 , its 100 days free. You can cancel anytime within 100 days on the spot

If you go over then yes you need to gove notice.
