I'm actually after one of these atm, eBay plus $5 coupon brings it down to $10 delivered. Surely that's worth a punt.

We can just use this as an adaptor right, without the hub? Would be nice to have additional hub if needed.

  yeah have the same coupon, 10$ is a pretty sweet deal. probably not going to run anything directly off it except the RJ45 but gonna chain another powered usb hub to it and see how well it works.
