For such a huge player in the finance software game the myob cloud platform really leaves a LOT to be desired. I’m using account right plus tier fwiw too.

  • Don’t waste your time with MYOB. Just save yourself the headache and use Xero

    • i am using Xero now myself, curious to find out the reason why you say using MYOB is a waste of time.
Does that means it is not user friendly and hard to use?

Thinking of moving to MYOB, i got powerpass

They use dinosaur system, system was set up like a joke, to get it to workable level you'll find yourself paying a lot more.

      • Support is $h!y and it’s overpriced compared to other products in the market

The wording is interesting as it says clearly pay for one month and receive a further 12 months, is that 13 months in total?

    • you might get 1 year for pretty much give-away price but if you're doing well and looking into expanding, the cost will rack up very quickly, even for ongoing subscription.

  • same as above, don't waste your money and get sucked into their eco system, you'll pay dearly. A place I worked with before upgraded their licence to the cloud and it was a money pit since, the starting cost was one but the amount of customisation you had to go through to get the workable solutions would've been painful for the finance guy. Starting from fresh better get it right from the beginning to save you the trouble.

  • Savings are good but Xero is better though.

Zoho Books are much easier to use in my opinion. Have use MYOB & Xero in the past. Support is very similar for all 3 providers.
