Printer for Colored Product Labels (Stickers)

Hi, Anyone prints their own colored product labels (stickers) at home ? Which printer you are using and how do you cut them ?

I was looking to get a B&W Laser Printer for few prints (that I require every month) but learnt that Epson Eco Tank 1810 is just $258. Wondering if someone has used EcoTanks to print product labels (stickers) or what other methods do you use ? Can you use different paparer types with it e.g. vinyls, matte etc. ?

Thanks.

Can cut with a CNC machine (e.g. cricut). Works with lots of types of printers too.

Yes, I use a Canon Pixma G3620, the Canon version of an EcoTank. I import the vectors into Cricut Design Space and cut with a Cricut Maker 3.

There are quite a few materials you can use with them. The megatanks do have some water resistance out of the box, way better than a normal inkjet printer, but not at all waterproof. If you want waterproof you can either buy waterproof printable A4 sheets or you can coat your sticker paper with what is basically clear contact. I just use waterproof vinyl for my prints.

Plenty of options with colour and finishes like gloss, matte, kraft, semi transparent, transparent, etc. AliExpress sell the cheapest printable vinyl and the quality is good.

Have a look at some YouTube videos. It’s full of videos of people using EcoTanks with Cricuts and Cameos so you’ll get some ideas.

    • Thanks man. For the print quality, can you compare EcoTank and MegaTank ?

I’m not sure how they compare, sorry
