Amazon Prime Subscription Discount

My free 12month Amazon prime subscription with optus has just ended. Does anybody know where or how I can get discounted Amazon prime subscription?

I don't have HSBC card or commbank card for free 3month subscription.. But I'm not even sure that would even stack.

Any help please?

Thanks.

You can only claim those 3 Month Mastercard offers once, per lifetime of that card. Tried it with HSBC last year and this year but got a message saying I've claimed it already.

      3 Month Mastercard offers

can we get it with debit cards ?

  • Do you have any supplementary cards? These work, at least on a different Amazon account. Not sure about same Amazon account

    • I don't think I have any cards that have a current free Amazon subscription offer.

I've also still got Amazon credit in my account, so I don't want to be changing accounts.

Doesn’t answer your question but if all the random subscriptions I have the amazon one is the only one that really consistently pays for itself many times over… especially ebay plus…

    • I know.. I refuse to pay for subscriptions services in general.. But if I was to, Amazon is the one. The fast delivery is just so worth it.. However, I just really don't want to have to pay full price for it.. So I hope there is a way to get it discounted.. Even if it is using discounted Amazon credits to pay for it? I'm not even sure that can happen.

  • i have 2 amazon accounts and every 6 months or so when I go to the prime signup page they offer me a free 30-day trial without even changing any of my details including my cc.
though $59 a year is bloody cheap considering what ur getting and that in the US they're charging $139usd

US Amazon still has a much larger range of items than AU though so that at least partially explains the price difference.

There has to be an OzBargainer with 12 amazon accounts right? 1 for a 30 day trial every month

      • Amazon bans people for too many accounts permanently, especially if trying to take advantage of the free trials.

        • iv never had any issues been doing this for several years. granted I buy some stuff every now and then and within the 30-day trial a lot more
