$10 Movie Tickets to All Sessions @ Village Cinemas (VRewards Membership Required)

1900

I'm leaving the original description because y'all seem to enjoy it.

Long story short, starting September first, all sessions at Village Cinemas will be $10 for VRewards memebers, for one week. I'm not sure if it's Victoria only or not though. Here's a photo of the self serve thing showing the ticket available for purchase on Thur 1/9. https://i.postimg.cc/SxgRgzkc/IMG-20220829-172838-796.jpg

Tickets on the self serve don't seem to have any booking fee, though I didn't go all the way through with a purchase, but the final stage had nothing loaded. Paying in person like normal will obviously not have a charge either, but if you want to order a session online it will have the usual $1.50 booking fee per ticket.

Heyo, I was lookin' at them sweet sweet Tobey Maguire tickets before, for the new Spidey's re-release, wanting to know the times at the local. And there was this option for VRewards Super Saver as a ticket, at 10 bucks. I had no idea what that was, cobba, so I Google'd it. And he had no idea either, man.

So then I went and saw Bullet Train, which was quite fun by the way, Brad Pitt is an okay dude. And then when I left, I asked the girl about the $10 thing, because (profanity) buying online with a buck fifty booking fee per ticket, that's dog balls. So she looked on her phone for a sec for the specifics, but she knew the deal. She said it isn't super public yet, but it's for all VRewards peeps, from Sept 1 to like the 7th or 8th (I forget), she said for a week. There's supposedly an email that will be sent to all y'all soonish explaining more and better.

But there you go, I got me some sweet sweet Tobey Maguire at only 10 bucks a pop. And if you think he's not the best Spider-Man, (profanity) you, don't buy a ticket.

PS, I assume it's not just for Vic, but if it turns out to be only for Vic, then soz, my bad, cobba.

PPS, today I found out you can swear in the deal and not get auto censored, but you will in a comment. The more you know.

  • Are there any Village Cinema's in Western Australia?

    • +1

Thanks to your comment, I just learned that Village Cinemas are mainly in Victoria only (and Tas). My whole life I always assumed they were a nationwide chain. What cinemas do other states have?

  • 😄 awesome description has good laugh, thanks for that …. apparently even in USA they are giving it for $3itseems in September to encourage movie going

  • Wait? Tobey McGuire is in the new Spiderman movie? Spoilers dude /s

  • I cannot see the $10 option. Is there something wrong?

    • Try a session from September 1 or further, might be a bit of a quest to find sessions as of yet though, as (at least my local) they seem to cap most things at Aug 31.

    • According to OP you need to be a "memeber" so probably post alot of "memes" about village cinemas or something or rather.

I read this thinking it was going to be the 2002 Spider-Man. Shame they're not showing that as it was the only good one.

    • All I'm hearing is Tobey is the only good Spider-Man.

  • It says $15.50 for V rewards adults on your screenshot. How to get the $10 tickets?

    • Click the VRewards ValuePlus $10 ticket option, my guy. Bottom right.

      • I don't get valueplus option. Only showing vrewards adults for $17.50 and child for $16.50.

Back in my day a cinema ticket was considered expensive if it was $10 :(

    How times have changed.
Little wonder why people defected when it went to $20 a ticket and a family cinema experience would cost up to $100.

  • It seems they care not for the New South Welshmen folk shrugs

  • Most hoyts in melbourne have recliners for all the screens, I find village cinema maintenance is really bad in cleaning after session.

  • Went to the cinemas in Tassie, and used my VRewards card at the counter, and got the movie ticket for $10.
So it's def not Vic only.
