I'm ready to look into my energy companies and notice quite a few cashbacks on Shopback and Cashrewards but also want to get the Victorian Government Energy Saving bonus.
Has anybody claimed the Energy Saving Bonus and also got cashback. Are there any tricks or pitfalls to watch out for (other than bad electricity companies :) ).

The Victorian Government Energy Saving Bonus is paid directly into your bank account for using https://compare.energy.vic.gov.au. There is no requirement to sign up to a new provider. This is very clearly stated on the website.
Cashbacks are paid for signing up to specific providers using referral/promotional links.

You literally just have to fill out a form, and a few weeks later, you get paid. You don’t need to sign up with any new energy company
