  • Looks more like Sims to me.

I’m looking forward to it, has an Animal Crossing meets Disney vibe. Will probably purchase it on the Switch for portability (paying for convenience, though oh well).

    • It's going to be free to play, hopefully with cross progression once the full game launches out of early access next year.

      • I have no doubt it's going to be F2P with a bunch of DLC. Think the Sims but without paying for the base game

      • Whilst I’d rather not pay for it the $45 is worth the early access/portability to me. At least the free to play aspect of it will only be cosmetic and not slowing down game mechanics etc.

    Disney doing Seasons & Gemstones?

Count me out. Disney is too cash grabby to stomach. No more.

Remember people, this game is made by Gameloft. So lots of monetization and generally poor supports post game. I had a bad time with Asphalt 9 due to their scummy monetization scheme and the toxicity of their mods.

It looks like the game will be pretty reasonable:

“Microtransations will be limited and will focus on cosmetic items. Core gameplay mechanics will not be monetized, and the base game will not require additional purchases to be enjoyed as intended. After Early Access, we have plans to add paid expansions that will add significant content to the game, but this will not impact the original full game experience offered at launch.”

I don't know chief. Pray that it's nothing like the Sims 4 where the base game was so barebone that the paid Expansions, packs and kits later on literally brought the game back to life.
Also I still distrust Gameloft. Will never touch anything they've laid hands on or developed.

          "enjoyed as intended"

We intend about 1 hour of game play wrapped around a poker machine

this game is made by Gameloft.

      I’m out.

Weren't Gameloft discovered to be stealing assets from other developers or am I misremembering?
