Looking for Wi-Fi Calling Overseas and eSim

I moved to Europe for a few months and need to receive calls and txt to my Australian mob number.
Once i moved i discovered that my gomo wifi calling doesn't work overseas, so i need to find other network with cheapest payment plan and esim as im already overseas.
Looks like boost have wifi calling overseas but doesn't have esims.
Any other alternatives?
Thanks

How many posts does it take until you get it right?

You should have a chat with @SlavOz - he keeps promising to return to his motherland and I bet he's done a stack of research to make sure the move goes smoothly so he should be able to help you out

    • the question is about esim and wifi calling not roaming

Telstra doesn't have esim option for pre-paid, im already overseas

i have gomo sim with wifi calling but it doesn't work overseas

sometimes its better to read the topic before answering

I think "Telstra Prepaid Casual, $70 for 365 days" is your best bet: https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/prepaid-mobiles/com…

    • a good option for the price.
      unfortunately no esims for pre-paid

There is an I'm using it, done remotely via Telstra chat.
If they refuse, one other option is to sign up for a plan eSIM and the convert it to prepaid via Telstra chat.

I'm on Telstra prepaid ($30/month) and esim works fine. You may have to get a physical sim and then convert to esim though.

        • Does it work when you are overseas to receive text messsages?

          • @rustproofhydra: I haven't been overseas since I switched to esim so I don't know. But I'll be sure to test it next time I travel.

Sorry to hijack but a question for those who may have some suggestions. Heading to Singapore and Philippines later this year for about 11 days. Need moderate data only (maps/email/iMessages/restaurant browsing). I'm with Mate mobile and they don't have international roaming which is fine.

Is an eSim the best option without having to muck around with changing SIM cards or having to buy a card from a store? I'm thinking Airalo based on my research.

    Cheers
