    I’d still rather book online and enter with my credit card; cheaper parking rates. (You can also use the Wilson Parking Card to enter) This is only good if you need an itemised invoice/statement for tax time or something similar.

      I tell you what's criminal, prepaid for parking, then once you get there, there's no parking available.

      In their defence, they did refund the money fairly quickly. Must be a regular occurrence.

            @mini2: very limited & its usually packed ….monash clayton and dandenong are both the same.
            the hospital provides NO FREE PARKING & wilson have the monopoly
            its a rort.

              @franco cozzo: So that's a yes but they're hard to come by. You can choose to go do happy laps around the place, and with a bit of luck, you can get a spot OR just pay up for the convenience. I suppose how much do you value your time.

    OzBargain told me that me that private parking operators can't issue fines, so why pay at all?

      This is correct, all they can recover are damages, which is literally the lost revenue from not having a paying car in the spot, so like a day rate.

      Have friends who've racked up 1000's in fines with them and nothing's been done bar a couple of phone calls which asked him to confirm if he owned the car.

      But i guess if the carpark is gated you can't really get around it.
