Ends today, normal price is $363 ($10/fortnight +$2 payment processing fee and $51 yearly fee) so saves a decent bit.

    Are you implying that "white" card is somehow oppression? Planet Fitness also have a black card. Hope that's not racist to you.

    I agree it's a weird naming convention seeing as a white card is needed for carrying out construction work. Site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and tradespeople must all have this to prove they have met the basic work health and safety requirements.

  Paying a 20% payment fee? I know gyms just add in fees to try and make it sound cheaper but in Aus isn't there some law about reasonable payment fees?
  Also can see my above comment is true when they charge you $51 to pay yearly (helping them)

    I'd much rather have a gym $5/week with a $1 transaction fee than a gym $15/week with $0.

    And I'm quite sure all gyms have a yearly membership fee (thought planet fitness was $39 though)

    Planet Fitness doesn't have "contracts" they just have "upfront memberships". Of course you'll save on these.

      Yes, not arguing I want to pay more. I certainly throw the naming to the side and pick whatever is the cheapest option. Just that they all go through this stupid marketing ploy of adding fees onto everything and they saying oh we only charge X (not including fees).

      I have never paid a yearly membership fee in my life at all gyms I have attended. Usually with a yearly membership they remove fees for me and offer a better rate.
