I've been buying large frozen cokes for $1, and getting two tickets in return. A bit of a loophole I think.
It’s always annoying when you use one of those specials on the app for your order, and then staff could see this and opt to give you a non-sticker packaging

I’ve read somewhere that a McDonald’s employee, disclosed that in the T&C’s it states that you need to actually save the receipts of every purchase in which you received the monopoly tabs. Referring to the ones that are required for major prizes. Upon redemption you need to provide proof of purchase that correlates to the tabs you got? Can someone confirm this?
I found this year's Monopoly game to be a bit sour. Over the past month we've been told at various stores that they ran out of the packets/cups with tickets when given our orders. Then the issues with the MyMacca's app started last week. When we go into stores with instant win tickets the cashiers have been a bit rude like we're wasting their time. It needs to be planned better for next year.
I imagine the public are buying up a lot of tickets to not only try and win the free stuff but also sell the tickets for hundreds of dollars on FB Marketplace, eBay and Gumtree for a decent profit.
Only things I've ever won from this is small fries, vouchers to things I would never use etc.
