Centrecom appears to have this version for $139 as well: https://www.centrecom.com.au/razer-blackshark-v2-pro-wireles…

Cheaper than OP's post IF you don't mind the Rainbow Six Siege livery.

nice, the Rainbow Six Siege pattern looks cool.

    • Umart has it too

This is not good for Xbox. Xbox uses a proprietary standard for USB audio which this doesn't support. It is only good for PC and PS4/PS5.

Has been slightly cheaper ($150) but will say I'm very happy with the set I got a few months back.

    • was down to $131.97, managed to grab one for $109 with my own code.

  • I’ve got the wired version of these and they’re super comfortable on my giant head… been keen to get a wireless pair for my ps5…. Might wait for them to hit $140.

    • navyskies put a comment up (first one) that lists a version of it (might be different colour) for $139.

  • Is this a worthy upgrade over a hyper x cloud 2 wired? Or should I wait for a deal on the wireless version?

    • I've got the HyperX Cloud ii wired, these Razor ones, also Logitech G Pro X wireless and Steelseries Arctis Pro wireless.

Can you please clarify what you're looking for as an "upgrade"? sound, ergonomics, software, compatibility?

Razor has the best comfort for me out of everything, battery life is great, and sound is decent.

I don't use the mic for any of them sorry, so I can't comment on that.

I didn't go technical, why don't you try them out and return them to Amazon if you're not satisfied.

Biggest upgrade is going wireless without much compromise on sound and latency.

      • which has the best sound quality? I know wireless won't be as good as wired (despite the price tag suggesting otherwise) but i want something as close to wired as possible.

        i don't care about mic ( i have a standalone )
battery life is moderately important, i can't accept less than 12 hours between charges

Appreciate your thoughts, my cloud 2 is around 4 years old and never really had another headset before that to compare so it’s all I had.

The annoying thing now is the cable and the foam starting to deteriorate. I watched a few YouTube vids and the razor seems great. Cloud was great in a sense that it was plug and play so if they feel more comfy then hopefully it cups my ears nicely.

Good point about ordering and returning it if I don’t like it tho, thanks!

  • How about comparing this with the Barracuda X? Any ideas?

  • For those who do get this headset, this is the settings I've been using. I used it as a base and adjusted couple of setting to personal preference.

    • Got mine for $129 and I'm also using the above settings. Comfortable, good battery life and it seems to be well made. Wasn't happy with it out of the box but it sounds good to me after using the above EQ settings.

  • Hmmm.

This or QC45s for office use?
