Hey OZB,

Long time lurkers here, first time posting.
We've been running an online bubble tea kit business for the last 2 years (started in Sep 2020) but with lockdowns looking to be a thing of the past (unless there's a new deadlier covid variant coming), we've decided to say farewell to the business and run a closing down sale of 50% off everything.

Any orders over $100 get a free pair of stainless steel bubble tea straws (which includes a cleaner and a carry pouch), and any orders over $150 get a free double-walled bubble tea cup (minimum spend is after discounts and does not include shipping costs). These items won't be added into the cart on the website, but we will be adding them into your orders when we pack them.

Our most popular kit is the Brown Sugar Milk Tea Kit, which comes down to 76 cents per serve if you choose the 30 servings size with no tea bags (you can use your own tea bags from colesworths, or choose a kit with the teabags which makes a cost of each serve 88 cents). Our Brown Sugar Milk Tea Kit is all sold out!

May we introduce the other very popular Classic milk tea Kit instead? It ends up being $1.35 per serving after the 50% discount!
And our Tapioca Pearls which can be cooked in 5 minutes with a 600g bag being $7.95 after the 50% discount.

      Those ones are too skinny to fit bubble tea toppings (ours are a diameter of 12mm). Point taken though, there's heaps of generic bubble tea straws on ebay for much cheaper! Perhaps there's other things on our website ozbargainers might be interested in!

      Thanks mate! Margins aren't big in the bubble tea kit business and with the big chain shops like chatime and gongcha having come in, it was becoming more and more unviable to keep going.

    Shame the code doesn't stack with 'nomorefructose'. So if you are buying kits that is supposed to come with fructose, you are getting less than 50% discount

      We don't have any fructose anymore, so kits don't include fructose and the price for those kits have been reduced.

          ohh i see, didn't know that code was still active! We have already deducted 10% from all kits that would've included fructose (i.e. the current price shown on the website is already 10% less compared to what it was before)
          but yes unfortunately can't stack them sorry mate!

            as far as i can see in my cart, this is the only coupon that's been applied

              @nubix: Hmmm that shouldn't happen. Did you choose to redeem some 'bubbles' (our loyalty points) as well? 'Bubbles' and discount codes can't be redeemed at the same time (our website won't allow it, the plugins for those two functionalities don't talk to each other unfortunately).

              Alternatively, please try using the code OZBISTHEBEST - should give you 50% off as well!

    Sorry about your business winding up OP.

    I wonder if one could take one of these bubble tea cups for chatime or wherever to fill up, instead of using their disposable plastic cups.

    (assuming this cup size matches one of their standard offerings)

      Our cups are 700ml in size (largest on the market for reuseable bubble tea cups). Yes you can take those to the bubble tea shops who, from our experiences, have been happy to fill up the cups we bring. Some shops actually filled it to the top, giving us more than what their disposable cups would've held, but some measured it out. YMMV

      Straws are 12.5cm in length noodlenoggin.
      For original milk tea kits, a kit of 10 servings include 500g of creamer and 10 pyramid tea bags :)
