  Can i use apple pay or samsung pay to pay bills, e.g. council rate via post office, water, electricity bill etc. Is it possible, or what are advantages doing that?

  If you're physically in the post office location they will accept Apple Pay and other digital wallets to pay bills but card restrictions if they apply you may not be able to use a certain type of payment method even though you're using it in a digital wallet.

  e.g. if the biller does not allow for credit cards you won't be able to use a credit card in Apple Pay to pay that bill however you would be able to pay with a debit card (Visa or Mastercard) or eftpos using you digital wallet they were to allow those types of payments.

  When it comes to physical use it essentially like your contactless card already it's accepted everywhere that contactless is provided the merchant takes the underlying payment network.

  e.g. American Express, Visa, Mastercard or eftpos having it in a digital wallet will not just suddenly make a American Express be accepted somewhere that doesn't take American Express.

  If you were to be paying them directly they would need to support the digital wallet platform in question if online or via an app.

  You can use Sniip, at least on iOS - but there is a small transaction fee.
  Looking at the app there's post office biller pay and BPAY

  Handy if you have any prepaid digital cards from previous deals. e.g. Myy App

  Advantages you don't have to carry the physical card or as much cash on hand.

  Suggest to have 2-3 bank cards in your digital wallet as back ups, and ensure your account funds have enough moneh
