[XB1, XSX] Kingdom Come Deliverance Royal Edition $11.09 @ Xbox

130

Base game and all dlc. Personally sunk / sank 800 hrs into this one.

Metal gear 5 also $8, but not as good. Voice acting seems off.

  • shows as $57….
    Exit - working now

  • Is this running at 30 or 60fps on Series X?

  • Shows as $11 for me.

  • What's this game similar to……? The first person view seems a little odd…

It’s quite an immersive RPG, so the first-person view is fitting. You basically start out crap at everything and can only improve through training and actual experience.

It’s an awesome game if you’re willing to endure failure time and again until everything clicks.

      • So like Skyrim I guess…..?

Would say combat takes more skill in this game.

          • @Tehcookiemonsta: Yep, combat is far more interesting than Skyrim's click to swing/block. KCD is more context and timing-based.

No magic/fantasy elements because it's based on real-world historical settings and events (the towns and some buildings still exist IRL today). The story and characters are pretty good and the quests are varied enough to not get too monotonous too early on.

I wasn't expecting much when I first fired it up because I'd gotten it free/cheap in a bundle some time before but after a few hours I was completely hooked.

Not sure what it's like on xbox, I played on mid-range PC and had no issues.

Definitely recommend if the above ticks any boxes for you.

    800hours? How??

    • It may have been the auto resume

  • I played this at launch but couldn't quite get in to it. Can you save whenever you like now? What did the Series X patch bring, 4k 60fps? Can't quite confirm on Google searches.

    • Can you save whenever you like now?

Don't think so, from memory Saviour Schnapps are still used. If you play on PC, there are quite a few mods out there that does allow you to save anywhere. Don't know about consoles though.

Fantastic game - highly recommend it (although I've played it on PC).

  • Played this couple of years ago and it was still buggy as hell but very immersive and overall just a good game.. Actually really enjoyed the story. Starting as a nobody (proper nobody, not just a nobody that is secretly the dragonborn..).

Loved the fighting as well, it's difficult and sword fighting against more then 1 person most of the time means restarting.

Still hope they make a sequel that is more polished.
