Does Anybody Have a Dreame Z10 Pro Robovac?

Thinking about buying the Dreame Z10.

Not interested in mop function (which I understand to be crap on most robovacs), and don't want to spend above $800-$900

Auto-empty seems like a good idea, and the only other competitor I can find is the Viomi S9, but I've read a lot of mixed reviews about its durability (poor battery life, parts breaking etc)

Has anyone had the Dreame Z10 for several months at least ? Any issues/concerns ?

Any other suggestions for an alternative ?

I have the Dreame L9 Pro - had it for about a year now.
Seems to be a very similar product as the Z10 - without the auto-empty.

Works great - no dramas from me at all.

  • Will follow this closely, looking at getting a robovac too.

Have you considered the Ecovacs Neo that will be on sale this Saturday at Aldi for $399? Thought it was decent, just lacking the self cleaning station.

    • I've always been a bit suspicious of Aldi electronics :) Although I realise Ecovacs is a big non-Aldi brand…

  • Object detection is quite sensitive. Fails on very high pile carpets even on the lowest sensitivity. Works very well for avoiding obstacles and small objects though, and doesnt require light.

Mop is pretty average. Water tank is small, a 3 br house will require a mid cleaning cycle refill on anything higher than the lowest water usage setting.

Auto empty is large and works well.

Has all the usual software features like no mop zones, virtual walls etc.

Overall pretty happy with what i paid ($900)

  • Yep I ended up buying one too

Installed Valetudo, integrated into Home Assistant, and I'm pretty happy a few weeks in

Haven't bothered to try the mop function, as it seems universally panned !

    • Hey bud, how's the Z10 going? I'm thinking of picking one up.

As someone privacy conscious, discovering that Valetudo was a thing was awesome too so thanks. Has there been any limitations with that?

  • Just saw this post, so it might be a little bit too late, but we've had our Z10 Pro for a little over a month. Honestly, it has been great. The LIDAR system is fantastic, it avoids obstacles really well. The suction power is high and is comparable to similar products priced at $1500~ on the market. We love the mopping function, and the floor feels incredibly clean. The mapping function, which is linked to the Xiaomi app (MiHome), is fantastic. So far, I can't fault it.

We purchased ours from Harvey Norman and added an extra 2 years of product care, making the warranty 3 years in total. If during the 2-3 year period, something happens with the device, they will replace it with a new one or give you credit. So it's a win, win compared to the 1-year warranty of the site.

It's so good that we're thinking of purchasing another one for my parents, but they keep flying off the shelf at the store.
