Baby spinach has so much more nutritional value than iceberg lettuce too. Thanks OP

yep. When all that nonsense about $12 icebergs was going on a few months, I thought who would eat that shit when baby spinach is far cheaper and nicer to eat.

Local green grocer used to have spinach for $9/kg and upped their price to $13/kg. Still got spinach from them as it was cheaper than woolies. This will be the first time I've bought spinach from woolies in over 6 months, thanks OP! ❤️

  • Thank you.

I've tried other supermarket brands and a lot of them have a bad smell to them. I've found Woolworths probably the best, as long as you don't buy an old bag. One brand I tried was always terrible, always smelled and started getting that weird slime too fast. Supplying quality baby spinach is apparently harder than it looks.

I found putting a sheet of paper towel in the bag helps keep them fresher for longer, maybe it stops it getting too moist.

I like the Aldi baby spinach. It's usually cheaper than Colesworth too.

If you're in WA, avoid Spudshed. I bought a bag there recently and it was already going off.
