looking for stores which sell the customer returns - i hward costco sells these as pallets then stores sell these heavily discounted open box item.
Any ideas where in melb I can find these items?

Yep my local store has the same, a marked down section which is opened boxed (aka returned) or ex demo, as in the last one so taken off display.

It is located near This St, which is near That St, but not near The Other St!
(all true street names in Porters Lake Canada BTW)
The pallets of returned items sold as a bulk lot is an American thing, they don't do it here.

Thank you, until now I didn't know 'hward' was a typo for 'heard'!
Just search factory second TVs on FB and you'll find where they go. Not necessarily form Costco but returned TVs and whitegoods go back to the distributor of that brand and they either sell it at their own outlet stores or sell to small refurbished /seconds sellers such as the ones advertising on FB and Gumtree.
