    Many reported on poor quality. I tried to ignore all reports… Bought last summer due to the good price. Used them 2 months during 2022 winter, they started falling apart…

    • +2

      Uggg.

    • Mine lastes a few years.. used them every single night almost

      • Can report too I have been using a pair of UGG prince slippers for over a year and no issues other than the wool did compress after a couple months but no other issues. I even liked them so much I bought a pair of mini boots for colder days.
        Granted I exclusively wear them inside and have no dogs.

          ORDER #60041 Thank you.

            @Kapitoshka: People!!!! My mind is actually BLOWN AWAY! I didn't even have time to take it offline. I was contacted directly by UGG Australia and they will sort this out.
            While things can get faulty and it might be annoying I would like to emphasise the level of commitment from business to engage and help out.
            WOW, so uncommon these days. Probably will take me a couple of days to recover LOL. Thank you UGG Australia for looking after your customers!

              @Kapitoshka: Blink twice if you're being held hostage..

              • +2

                @DB24: Totally get it. However, it is so uncommon these days for businesses not to throw you under the bus. I had to acknowledge the drive and desire of rep. I think it is important to give a credit where credit is due.

                @DB24: Love the hostage comment.

              @Kapitoshka:

              I was contacted directly by UGG Australia and they will sort this out.

              I don't know why you offer praise to a company that reacts like this. ALL companies hate bad press, and they ONLY responded to you after you aired your grievances here, in 'public'. I don't know if you contacted them before this?

              So we are left with this:
              * a company with a shoddy product
              * a company that ignored you (if you contacted them earlier?) until you aired your grievances publically

              • @blit: All words can be twisted and turned!
                1. Because I purchased them around 11 months ago it would not be reasonable to contact them for any rectification.
                2. It is my first time I ever commented on my experience on the product ( I didn't air my grievances publicly)
                3. I'm not claiming that because they helped their product became magically better.

                What is wrong with modern consumer attitude? Would you rather acknowledge that they're not perfect, but willing to help or just sit behind the keyboard rubbishing everything you don't like and expect better things to come?

                Again, not offering any praise to the product that I bought initially, just acknowledging care and support.

                • @Kapitoshka: 1) ok, 11 months & no contact.
                  2) you aired your grievances on OzBargain. Companies react to bad 'press'
                  3) I am not claiming that you did.

                  Companies simply react to bad press. There is nothing 'special' about it. It hurts them more not to. In other words, it works for them financially to do so.

                  • @blit: Companies that care react to bad press. In the last 1/2 year I went after Samsung and Qantas for real - all the way applying possible consumer power. I didn't get any acknowledgement.
                    Here, i did not do anything extra ordinary. Just a commented on the product. No threat, no follow up, no demand. I was taken care of without asking.
                    Maybe we're totally different with our attitudes and view of this world, but I choose to praise those who cares. That's all.

                      I'm glad you are happy…I am simply illustrating that it is in their financial interest to react swiftly when bad press comes their way. I don't think any company 'cares' about anything but their bottom line. I don't expect any more from any of them.

                      • @blit: I guess after being shafted by companies that charge big and not even acknowledging your existence I'm happy that others choose to "care" even though it might be for their business success or perhaps bottom line.

      Why don’t you just start making uggs that don’t fall apart?

      • +2

        +1 I'd imagine it would save a lot of resources long term doing this

  • +2

    Not happy with my pair bought previously. Should have paid better attention to feedback

    • +1

      Ugg Australia or one of the Asian ugg like ugg express or whatever?

      • Ugg Australia from a previous post.

  • +2

    Things are getting UGGly right about now.

  • +1

    Also adding to the feedback that I purchased from this store before, and the product quality was not good at all. After about 6-8 weeks, the bottom layer started falling apart. Don't recommend.

    Thanks OP. Ordered a few more pairs. The last pair I ordered have stood up pretty good so far even standing up to me kicking the dog ball outside daily with them on. These have replaced my daily drivers (plastic/rubber thongs) around the house and ever since I don't get splits in my heels or toes. TY

    • See, you're not allowed to send this seller positivity. You need to be a sheep and join the OzBargain geeks in bullying the seller.
      Those who complain about quick wear of this product are probably overweight. In other words, they're the problem.

  • I kinda feel like at this price its worth the quality. I have been through maybe 4 in the last 2 years and like everyone says they start to deteriorate pretty quickly.
    Thinking might just skip em this time…

  • Such a good gift idea for my gf as she's 42kg and gets cold really easily. Ugg, a classic Aussie trademark and Aussie made should be of the highest quality and last a lifetime.. let down by the feedback, sadly will avoid for now.

  • +1

    Throwing in my 2 centres here too. Have bought multiple times (have had one replaced). They only really last 3-6 months before you wear though the wool around the heel. Still usable afterwards if you don't mind this fact.

  • +1

    Avoid, so many bad experiences here. Ordered two pairs came in two different brands in a dirty plastic bag. Soles made in China. Returned both and bought the original UGG https://au.ugg.com
