    Practically no lego is "limited-edition" other than some promos you don't need. That's just lego marketing FOMO crap.

    This will go cheaper than kmart's everyday price of 225 given time.

      I am actually surprised that Kmart didn't increased their prices after Lego increased their prices across the board on 1st August. Kmart doesn't normally do 20% off Lego so after the RRP increase, $225 is quite close to being 20% off $280.

    its a good build.. did it with my 6 year old. For some reason i thought it came with the trailer AND my set (which was bought from Kmart last time) was missing quite a lot of (common) pieces

    I suggest https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-112957/SleepyCow/optimuss-h… this head, but i had to buy some extra parts from rebrickable for $4

    I have just finished building mine last night. Mine was a very fun build and the way it transformers (and these new joints) is incredible. Its now waiting for a trailer to be released.

  Everytime I saw a Lego Optimus post it reminds me of my stupid Week One purchase at full price. Limited edition my ass. Gonna build the shit out of it to show Lego who's the boss!

    At least you bought it prior to the price increase on 1st August so I guess it was only 10% more expensive. With Lego, I generally just wait for the typical 20% off, no matter how "limited" it is.
