    Are they programming books? I was expecting Python, C/C++, Java, etc.

      Unity engine uses C# for scripting. A fun introduction but not much more.

      plenty of free resources/videos out there for python etc.

      you could sometimes even get free code given to you, just hop on twitter and say "here's my python code: void main(){ printf("hello world");"

        Definitely, I have a heap of old C/C++, Perl, Python etc books but these days there’s more than enough online to learn for free. Even GitHub is great for trawling through code of any language to learn.
