I recently bought a $150 king single mattress for a spare bedroom, and decided that mattresses don't need to cost this much to be decent.

    • Yeah, I bought a mattress a bit over 10 years ago for over $3K. Was fantastic to start (always couldn't wait to get back home when on holidays, just for the good sleep) but by the end needed something new. I thought I'd get a cheapy (was something like $400 delivered or so) in the interim until I find something good again and then put the cheapy in the spare bedroom. Well, cheapy has been going fine every night now for almost 2 years.

  • Welcome to Ozbargain.

  • I did far too much research on the "mattress in a box" topic & eventually decided to go with Naptime. Happy to answer questions - I have an excel table with everything in it (including all possible discounts).

  • How are ecosa as a brand?

We needed a sofa bed and ecosa and koala have come up as top of the reviews as far as online goes per the Mrs research. But their bloody expensive. Just wondering if they are as good as they say they are (preferably the sofa beds, although be a good start if they got their mattresses down pat).

Supposedly return policies if you don't like it and the fast delivery was one positive vs heading into super smart, Harvey Norman etc and ordering with lead times.

  • I started off with 1 Ecosa mattress and was happy, so we bought a second. We ended up giving both to the kids and returned to using the old sunken mattress. I suffer from lower back pains and was tossing up between another Ecosa Mattress or the Sleeping Duck. I didn't know Ecosa had the Pure Mattress until I saw this post so after some research I went with the Ecosa Pure Mattress, I won't lie, the promo saving of just over $1,000 made it easy. I only just placed the order last night, looking forward to it now.

    Thank you OP

    • Hi N00dles, would you mind sharing your thoughts on the Ecosa Pute Mattress? We are keen on getting it but it’s hard to find reviews that you can trust online when it comes to mattresses in box.

  • If anyone looking for a package deal, then this might better option:
    https://latexbeddingco.com.au/product/ultimate-dream-package…

Its 100% Latex mattress rather than memory foam/hybrid.

  • Wait, I can’t see the price of $1120, how can I find it?
