    you should look at more environmental ways of heating your outdoor area rather than using these horrible things

      That depends on the source of your electricity. If you generate mite than 100% of your usage from solar, as I do, this is very clean energy.

      That said, I'm not a fan.

      Personally, I wonder how much of global warming is attributed to:
      1. Heating our environments in winter
      2. Attempting to cool our environments in summer by generating more heat through air conditioners.
