Awesome price for a TF1000 Legacy, even with the wait time.

Spalding have different labels for all their official game balls (NBL, WNBL etc), but all the balls at the elite level are TF1000 Legacies…. doesn't get much better in a basketball.
This particular ball on Amazon has a "NAIA" logo on it which means nothing to us here in Australia, but the ball itself is still top of the line.

For under $70 delivered, this is a great price for a TF1000 Legacy. Just remember, this is a Size 7… so Males 12yo+ only. Females 9yo+ (and Males 9-12yo) use Size 6.

Strictly indoor only though… you would destroy it playing outside.

    • What's a good outdoor ball? Last few I've tried had little grip and made me look worse than usual 😜

15+ male use size 7. Under 15 size 6 here in NSW anyway

      • I think we are talking about the same rules here in ACT (Australia wide actually).
The game age groups are a little 'false advertising' in reality though.

For instance "Under 14's" is size 6, but in reality no one over 12 is playing in that league because if you're 13 you're more than likely turning 14 within the year the season is running, which excludes you from under 14's- even though technically you're "under 14" if you know what I mean.

Hence why I said 12+… realistically anyone 13 or over isn't playing in the under 14's (size 6), they are playing in under 16's (size 7).

It's crazy I know, should just be "if you're under 14, you can play under 14's"… but it doesn't work out that way.

Now that I think about it though, maybe I should have said 13+… as in NOT including 12, because a 12yo can play under 14's :).

        • Yeah got ya, had to double check because my son is 13 and was sure he was using a size 6 which he is.

      • WA 14 or turning 14 that year use size 7
