Bellini 60cm (70L) S/S & Black Pyrolytic Oven $247 (Was $642) in-Store /+ Delivery @ Bunnings

340

Full credit to PriceHipster for this one.

Ok, so not the best reviewed pyrolytic oven out there and low stock in the stores around NSW that I checked (delivery is available) but might be a good option for someone for a rental or not fussed on how long it takes to preheat?

It's a very good price for a pyrolytic oven - I love me a good bargain!

If Bellini ovens are anything like their dishwashers I wouldn't go near them for any price.

      I agree…… but it is a such a bargain! :-)

Ditto, had a Bellini oven and dishwasher. They went as soon as we had the $$. Would have gone to tip, but acquaintance took them. Wouldn't give them to a friend;)

    • Yeah, I also had a dishwasher I. My house when I moved in.

We didn’t use it. There was no point because we had to wash everything again anyway.

    • Yep I inherited their dishwasher when I moved house. It lasted 2 days then I have it away as it couldn't wash for #$@&…

    • Ah… pyrolytic ovens… what a refreshing thing to see in this age of energy abundance! Burn everything off the inside of the oven by superheating it instead of cleaning by hand. Sort of sounds a bit like burning everything off the face of the earth, dunnit!
Now I'm no luddite… I have a dishwasher because it saves water (and ultimately heating energy) compared to me doing it by hand. I've got a fridge and big arsed tv and all that stuffs… but I try to compensate that by having solar (including a bunch of demolition sale solar panels that are the only things that power my big arsed tv and computer)
I mean… it's understandable military jets having afterburners to pour fuel in, because it can be a matter of life and death and such…. but pouring excess heat into your oven to save a bit of effort? na… nope… doesn't pass the smell test.

  • I had 4 visits from a tech for my Bellini dishwasher. Damn thing wouldn’t stop beeping. I think their quality control must be atrocious.

Perfect for (profanity) landlords to install in their new investment properties.
    (profanity) the renters amirite?

      Good enough for renters.
      They'll only break it anyway.

  • Need a new one as one of my fan's circuits burnt out.

I thought it couldn't be that bad for the price. But the reviews really say otherwise.

Please no one buy Bellini branded items. Utter trash

  • Renting in a house with one, they are indeed utter garbage. Built terribly and smells bad after a wash, even if I hand wash everything before hand.

    • Have you cleaned the filters recently? I had the same problem until I cleaned the filters then ran dishwasher cleaner through a cycle. Dishwashers shouldn't smell bad. That's a sign there's an underlying issue.

No. This is a false economy.

Firstly, you are wasting ingredients you paid good money for by not cooking them properly in a crappy oven.
Secondly, it is unlikely to be energy efficient. Review said it takes 27 minutes to reach 230 degrees?!
Lastly: legally you are not allowed to install your own oven, meaning you will be spending on an electrician to install an oven that will barely last you years, because I can guarantee you that in a few years (or even now?!) you can't get spare parts for this.

I made the mistake of buying a Teka pyrolitic oven 8 years ago, which broke after 7 years and was unserviceable. It was never great to begin with. It's a waste of time and money.

Absolute garbage that will end up in landfill within a couple of years. Selling this crap should be illegal

New house came with Bellini applicances. Absolutely rubbish. Replaced the dishwasher and would have done the oven and stove top if they weren't an unconventional 75cm size.

The dishwasher didn't clean. 40% of the stoves burners don't work and the oven doesn't heat evenly.

Wouldn't pay $5 for any of it.

  • Although title is oven, everyone is talking about dishwasher. We have Bellini oven, I think it is previous model. The house we bought came with it. We have been using it for last 3 years without any issue.

  • can anyone tell me if this can actually go to 280 for real? If so i will sell my miele.
