Best Value Smart Battery Charger for Eneloops Currently?

Hi guys, as per forum post title.

Just recently bought Eneloops since I needed batteries at home, but have read a few forum posts and deals in which commenters were talking about the significance of good smart chargers for rechargeable batteries.

Although that being said, I am not looking to spend an extravagant amount, just want something very 'beginner friendly' and will not harmful for the batteries.

Thanks!

    I have a Nitecore D4.

    • +1 for Nitecore D4. Don't know if it's the best, but it continues to work well for me 3 years down the track.

      • Mine's being going since 2017!

Liitokala 500s. Fairly cheap, has some useful features like the ability to choose the charging current for each of your cells and a test function which can measure real capacity of your batteries

    • Liitokalas are cheap but good.

    • Okay looks good, should I just purchase it from Aliexpress then? Can't find it anywhere else without ridiculous shipping. Does it also work for other battery forms other than AA?

  • I've had a zanflare c4 for a 3+ years and it's been AOK
pretty sure it was only about $25 back then though
i think I chose because of the 4x1000 charging rate

  • Anyone used EBL, or this other one??

  • I used to use the MAHA C9000, meant to be the king of chargers. I lost it after a breakup, so now I just use the el cheapo Eneloop dumb charger and it seems to work just as good.

  • If you believe the hype, Ikea Laddas are rebranded Eneloops. I bought Eneloops more than 10 years ago. Lost the charger. Bought some Laddas more than 5 years ago with an Ikea charger. Now use that charger to charge both. Works for me.
