Buying Two Microsoft Surface Laptops + Accessories

Hi guys,

I am planning on buying two Surface Laptops (Unsure of what model yet, or maybe even an iPad).

Whats the cheapest combo or best deal I can get? (Giftcards + cashback + sales. etc)

My plan was to head to my local Good Guys and get a deal there. (Recently furnished a house, so I have a pretty good rapport with them).

But knowing this place, I bet you guys can do better.

  • Depends entirely upon what you want as it sounds like you have some decisions to make as to what you want to use them for to decide what you actually need to buy.

As much as it pains me to say, the iPad's will slaughter most of the similar priced surface devices on performance, battery life and reliability for the most part if you are happy / able to use an iPad for whatever you are planning to do on them.

If however you need a PC and can't use IOS apps - the iPad's are not in the running and you need to look at if you need (or want) the performance of a Surface go, a Surface Pro or a Surface laptop as they are all massively different devices with different price points.

We need to know what you are looking to use them for and the kind of budget you are hoping to spend to be able to offer reasonable input.

    • Ill eventually know what to get, just havent had the time to do research.

Was mostly asking about which route I should take for the best deal.

Getting what you want / need at a reduced price is a bargain, getting something you don't want or need at a reduced price is the exact opposite.
You specified a pretty broad stroke of possible hardware that runs the gamut of $600-$4500+ and in order to tell you where to go looking for the best price we kind of need to determine if you are after a VW Golf or a Lamborghini Aventador - both are VAG products but have vastly different routes to getting the best deal on.

        • I like the word gamut. Get a plus from me

  • At least buy with cash rewards/shopback

M$ website sales and amex cashbacks line up pretty frequently
