Disposable Pull-up Nappies for a 6 Year Old

I'm looking for a good price on large pull up nappies (a big Size 6 or more) for a 25kg boy to wear through the night.

Coles sells BabyLove Size 6 at ~$0.70/nappy (~$0.50 on sale), but I'd prefer even cheaper if anyone knows of a source.

We live in regional north west Victoria - so would appreciate recommendations that include shipping. I'm okay buying in bulk.

      Thanks! I work out.

  • Can't help you but good luck with the toilet training.

I wouldn't buy in bulk as hopefully one day, he'll stop.

I think most parents on here understand that sometimes things can be complicated with toilet training. Chemist warehouse maybe?

Better looking at getting a "bed wetting alarm" as it will save you allot of time and effort.

    • Thanks, I'll check it. He is still wetting the bed while awake, so there is a very good use-case there for this sort of thing you mention.

  • Maybe time for plastic sheets?

    • Not cheaper than a nappy at all. And completely different in regards to cleanup. This would be an extra cost on top of nappies.

  • Sorry, I can't help out with the nappies but maybe one of those plastic sheets that protect a mattress from accidents?

I found with one of my kids who was taking longer to get out of nappies at night time that they learned quickly to stop after a few 3am showers to clean them.

  • Honest I don't think you'll find much cheaper, if at all, from the price you're already getting. Do they need to be pullups in particular?

No, but it is in the hopes of transitioning out of them altogether during the summer - when washing and drying bedding in a single day is possible - so he can easily, and independently, pull them up and down to do a wee at night.

I used to buy the Aldi ones but not sure if the size goes up that high. Otherwise Babylove when they are on a half price.

Aldi is good. To stop bed wetting i wake up my child at 10pm each night to do a wee.

Works well and haven’t had any accidents since.
