The original red and blue design hints to the Adidas Micropacer, and it was one of the key elements that made it so popular several years ago.
They do have white and other colour blocks variants but they are not on sale or remade.

How do these compare to Ultraboosts?
Own both. Ultraboosts have a thicker boost IMO but both are pretty comfy. Would pick the UBs over the NMD R1s though if I was given a choice between the two.

@hippyhippy: Cant agree more. Nike dunk lows are in and you can customise them too. Its embarrassing wearing NMD in 2022.
I went through a stage of buying NMD, probably have about 10 pairs, never wear them anymore as went off the syle a bit. Just wear classic cons/vans now.
