    It's getting short dated because they're not turning over as much since the price hike. Things start to get crazy when Petrol is cheaper per litre than Pepsi Max.

    Short date = short on flavour/ all most soda water flavour when Pepsi Max gets old

      Came here to say the same. Pepsi Max definitely tastes worse the closer it is to the expiry date. The 1.25 litre units don't seem as popular so often are close to expiry. Stick to the 2 litre bottles at supermarkets if you want guaranteed taste.

      Carbonated soft drinks are not perishable, and are safe past the date stamped on the bottle/box. Eventually flavor and carbonation will decrease. For best quality, consume unopened sugarless drinks within 3 months after the date expires; regular softdrink within 9 months.
