  • Can you get foxtel on it?

    • no Foxtel, unless you load up a SlingBox/Vulkano connected to Foxtel. Some apps like ABC and Euronews are fine.

Its a VERY fiddly remote and suggest you get the keyboard too (not one off Ebay like I did…just won't work with it).

Logitech Revue is the way to go, at least.

  • Just don't order using IE7 :)

    http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-18440979

    • 6.8% surcharge for useing IE7, due to Kogan's web app dev't costs to access via IE7, eh? :-/

Will they lose business… or will others follow their brave example?

    • It has to be said their new design is horrible. Much preferred the previous.

    • +1

      what about IE 6 ???

  • Does "All In One Smart TV Box" mean this is a set top box as well as Android media player? I need a new HD set top box.

  • When they bring these out with dual core and 1GB of RAM i will be quite intersted.

They should make an all round media player and casual internet access device.

  • i got an email too I was thinking of putting it here for everyone:) u beat me to it!

  • But will it play Angry Birds?

AC Ryan Veolo Smart Android Network Media Player at $99 seems to be a better offer.
It comes with a wii feel air mouse like remote which would be nice to play Angry Bird with.

The only thing stopping me to buy is that it seems too cheap. Other online shop is selling at $160+….

  • +1

yes….you can play angry bird etc via this on your telly…

I am using this box for over an year…and have made my TV really smart…..Make sure to have the android wireless keyboard along with it..else it would be a pain to access the full functionality at ease

Nevertheless my kids love it - and youtube is always ON with the cartoons running….along with so many Google play apps….

Seriously - a real good deal at 99 - as i paid 149…(at full price)

    hope it helps

  • Can't find a list of supported video formats, so does anyone who owns one know if it plays RMVB files?

its an outdated format, i know, alot of the shows my folks watch are in it.

    • It runs android. Just download a video player app able to play it. (MX Video Player for instance. I'm using it on mine)

  • So can the android version be updated on these? To say ICS? I want to run some TV apps on this but not sure the apps I'm interested in can run on older Android versions. Is there a way to check what apps work with what Android versions?

  • Can someone explain which is better, this or this:

    http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/agora-smart-tv-hdmi-dongle/

  • $18.64 shipping to Sydney.

  • Can you use your smartphone as a remote via wifi? It should work if it has a web interface.
