When I first connected my Apple pro max iPhone 13 to my 2022 Yaris Cross I was give 3 choices. Unfortunately I chose “forget” and did not enable CarPlay. I’ve searched the internet about how to re enable this feature but can only find information for Audis and Hondas. I’ve rebooted my phone , checked connections and settings, held the talk switch on. Siri will come through the car speakers but the CarPlay icon never appears. Short of calling the dealership can anyone help this dinosaur?

When I do that I only get “available cars” and nothing appears.
Make sure it's plugged into the car.
In toyota there are some setting that you go thru and enable it there.
I’m sure its thru toyota car display, there is not much you can do in iphones.
Check enabling in toyota … dealer will do it free for you, just have to jump into theirs.
On the car: Vehicle settings - projection settings - make sure carplay is enabled
If it's a phone setting that's stuffed, unlikely you'd get good tech support for it from the service dept
I finally got around to buying a new lightning cable and that solved the problem. Thanks again for your help.
Settings > General > CarPlay and reconnect your vehicle.
