Microsoft has de-listed the game and removed it from user's libraries. The game is not meant to be free, according to a message sent to Xbox users who claimed this for free previously.

Spotted on HUKD. Could be a price error as it's appearing as US$39.99 for Nintendo Switch.

Add to cart and then check out via PC.

Workaround for PC.

Add to cart in UK store and then checkout. You’ll still own the game when you change back to Aussie store.

          Then I opened cart
          Removed other game
          Checkout
          Success.

            Found it, have to open cart from the other game, didn't work to open cart from this game.

            At first still something went wrong, after re-try and done.

    For those trying to do it via web browser (ie. not on Xbox), I just managed to do it on my phone in the AU store:

    1. Click ‘Add to Cart’. It seems like nothing has happened, but it’s actually added it to your cart. It just doesn’t TAKE you to the cart.

    2. Add something else to your cart. eg. I hit the search button (magnifying glass) in the top left of the page and searched ‘Grand Theft’ and hit the first result. I added ‘Grand Theft Auto 5 Story Mode’ to my cart. And then the button became ‘Open Cart’, so I clicked it.

    3. Once you’re taken to your cart, remove everything other than Yum Yum Cookstar and checkout.

      I’ve never downloaded a price error before, by ‘revert’ do you mean MS can/will remove the downloaded game from my Xbox at a later date?

    UK work around worked for me. Thought I was missing the obvious cart button. This is the link for the AU cart https://www.xbox.com/en-AU/cart You can add it to cart then go here.

      Was showing on the XBOX One S MS Store, but wasn't able to get for free or add to cart. Guess I was a bit late to it. Tried on phone and iPad and got errors on both AU and UK stores, so they must've taken it down?

      Yes on the Xbox app.
      My library> Games, then filter "OWNED GAMES".
      I can't see it anymore.

    Got message on Xbox app today, saying it was never intended to be free, they're taking it back off "My games and apps" etc etc.

      Me too, didn't have an xbox when I bought it and didn't know what it was. Now have an xbox, thankfully didn't buy to play this game, or even remember that I'd 'bought' this.

      Did get to play it for ~4 weeks though before it was removed from my console. Daughter loved it, so I’ll just consider it a free trial if/when they actually release it.
