I haven't seen this bike IRL, however non-mountain version has a higher RRP and is 2x the price while on special.

A decent bicycle is affordable for all and very rewarding to own. There's no need for this pile of junk to exist.

Taking this thing anywhere near a mountain is asking for a bad time.

  • Its not a mountain bike, which obviously a folding bike would be inappropriate for.

I think you should keep in mind this is 15kg in weight which makes it harder to, as they claim so….

you’ll be able to swiftly jump on and off public transport, store the bike under the desk

So maybe as a spare for when friends visit and would like to ride with you makes more sense. So it takes up less room in your storage space,

    • fyi, with a normal bike if not in use just turn the handlebars 90 deg and hang it up from the shed/garage ceiling. Takes very little space at home.

A folding bike is more for getting into luggage space in car, plane, long-distance bus etc. Or office store-room, hotel luggage room, I guess.

    bad deal. bad product.

  • Could any owners tell me whether it has a quick-release on the handlebar, so that the handlebars can be rotated quickly?

  • Just received it from Kogan..

For $59.99 with a free trial of Kogan first one couldn't really ask for more.

Get a $7 helmet from BIGW or Kmart, portable $8 repco air pump, $3 tube patch, $5 lock and you're good to go on the move.

Bought 2 and was quick to assemble. The existing tools in the box are enough for assembly.

If I throw it in a yard sale, I'll probably still recover the cost.
