Mine defaults to whatever LED position it was when I switched it off. Battery is great, lasts 3-4 days with intermediate use. Only other downside is it uses Micro-USB for charging.
Oh really? Maybe mine needs a firmware update, I basically haven't used the software in forever because of how useless it was.
Wish they would put the Cloud 2 wireless up for sale for a change. I've had my Cloud 2 wired for 3 years now and love them

I've been using these for years and they are quite amazing. Super comfortable, has great sound quality, and the battery life is insane.
The only issue I have with them is that they are 2.4Ghz wireless which means they suffer from some interference from things like the microwave and my baby monitor. Oh and the software is terrible, they get like twice the battery life with the red LED's off but you can't turn it off by default… you have to manually do it every time you turn them on, so if you forget you are just draining extra battery.
