  • Interesting why HyperX would introduce this… theyre almost identical to a HyperX Cloud Flight S (which are great btw, mine are about 3 years old and not had any issues).

    • Guess they wanted to cash in on the wireless tread since the original Cloud II wired is such a staple of the gaming headset world

  • Do these have a audio delay? I know when I use my Galaxy Buds to watch on my phone, there's a half a second audio delay.

    • +1

Doubt it, would be unusable for FPS gaming or any PVP game if that was the case. My logitech wireless g533 have no delay and that's years old

    • +1

I have these and don't notice any delays. It uses a USB adapter to connect via WiFi to the headset. Unless you have a USB to USB-C/Lightning adapter, you won't be able to use these headsets with a phone.

      • Ah ok fair enough. I noticed the $15 voucher doesn't show up for the Cloud II wireless? I can see it on the Cloud Alpha wireless though

        • It looks like the voucher has been removed now and the price has been dropped to $199 permanently.

  • +1

I have these, they are good however can get quite tight/uncomfortable around the ears after long gaming sessions

  • this vs epos 370?

    • +1

370, better battery life but not ideal for those with bigger heads

  • +2

Cloud Alpha Wireless is also available at the same price with $15 off coupon. 3x camels show it is at the lowest price so far as well.
It has 300 hours battery life which has been tested and is pretty incredible.

You probably only need to charge it once every 4~6 months.

    • I've previously owned a Hyper x cloud II wired i bought years ago was the most comfortable headset i've ever worn. How does the wireless version of the cloud II fair or is it the same but just wireless?

Also how does the cloud alpha wireless stack up against the cloud II wired and wireless version?

$200 is abit steep and my last wireless headset i bought was a steelseries artic 7 wireless which was such a uncomfortable headset even when purchasing new earmuffs.

      • I have no idea how they compare. Youtube is probably your friend there.

I also agree $200 is steep. I would not spend this much on a wireless gaming headset but I think Hyper X have a good reputation compared to Steelseries.
I would expect some kind of awesome feature for $200 and in the case of the Cloud Alpha wireless it has 300 hour battery life which nothing else on the market can do. I would lean towards the Cloud Alpha wireless for this reason, even if it had worse sound quality than the Cloud II wireless in this deal I would prefer the 300 hour battery life.

      • I'm thinking of upgrading to the Cloud 2 wireless soon. I've had the wired for 3 years and they are still comfy being used average 20-25 hours a week.

Only reason I haven't upgraded yet is due to switching between Xbox and PC often, it's easier for me to plug my headset into the Logitech speakers output to handle both units.

      • Cloud ii wireless is cloud ii but wireless. If you like the OG, you'll like this.
