  I got this to clean the garage and some outdoor areas. The cord is way too short and not retractable, and the extension tubes only attach via friction and rubber seal and doesn't stay in place well unless you really force it in, it should have a click in system or something better. Only occasionally use it, works fine otherwise. Kinda big too if space is an issue.

  Has anyone used it without the bag? WIll it clog the filter based on its design?

  I have used one at work. The filter sock gets a bit clogged so you jave to tap the dust of that occasionally. The main paper filter stays fairly clean.

  Yes, I hate the idea of bags.. i only use it with the filter and the sock over it.. I wash them both out every so often.
