Anyways, i've seen afew people asking for Dota 2 Beta Keys (refer to list of links below)
And i decided to start buying them? (from other players)

I would do this for free, except it's hard to find a free supply…
So i've resorted to buying them instead… (and ALL my friends already have the game…)

Anyways, how it works?

I've got 2 invites already, i've got 3 reserved…
And i've got anotehr 14 which i'm trying to get my hands on…
But since i'm paying out of pocket, i'm not going to buy all of them and have them stuck on my account…

There has been heapd of Invites for free. Pretty much every gamer on my FB list were giving them out like candy.

      Well, it varies from seller to seller, sometimes, i make a profit, sometimes, i make a loss…
      
      All i know is that, I NEED MORE ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLE TO PLAY THE GAME!
      Last night sucked, had people running into the enemy's base, when you tell them DON'T ATTACK, they go straight in and feed the other team…

      League of Legends (LOL) free-to-play noobs really ruin the crap out of matches. Idiots in one of my matches were all trying out their new champs/heroes and were all feeding top lane. Guy in midlane was fed as well cos no one was there. I was up against two guys down at bottom lane.
      
      Free to play does ruin games and they need to sort out the noobs. Hope valve knows what its doing… [re; valve making dota 2 free to play]

      Having the same problem with Dota 2…
      Got people playing their FIRST match and sometimes, they don't know english…
      And yes, their favourite activity is to feed the other team…

I can understand why people bought beta keys back when the beta first went live, they were really hard to come by, in the past few months however Valve have given out heaps of beta codes so I cannot really understand why anybody would do this any more. They tend to send out beta invites in batches, when they send out these batches they have also been giving existing users 3 keys at a time also.

I would encourage everybody to either:
a) Sign up to the playdota.com forums where there are plenty of key's floating around, or
b) Look at who on your friends list is in the dota 2 beta (whether they play or not) and see if they have receive any spare keys they are happy to part with.
c) Sign up for the beta on the dota2.com website

Doing one of the above is much better than encouraging these types of practices.

    d) Join a Australian gaming community such as Gamers United or games.on.net, post a few times to demonstrate that you are not a tool and ask very nicely if anybody has any dota 2 keys that they wouldn't mind giving you….plus you also get to participate in another great community just like Ozb!
    
    There are a pretty great bunch of people out among the various communities who would help out if they have key's.

You make it sound like you're giving these keys out without making any profit, but you keep saying you're buying all these keys from other players. Doesn't make sense. Either you're trying to make a slow buck, or you love the game so much that you're going to all that trouble just to get more players, both scenarios are pretty lame.

Firstly, you should be able to grab an invite for free if you know anyone that plays D2. If by any chance you don't, why on earth would you pay $13 when you can get it for less than $5 on ebay?

hmmm….. Buying from ebay is alot more safer than from some random on Ozbargain my friend.

Not to mention, If you buy from a trusted seller on Ebay, there's no chance of being scammed, especially how you're covered under Paypal for any loss.
