Hey Guys,

The Big LAN is back in Mitcham, Victoria this Saturday! It looks like it's going to be an awesome event and our biggest so far.

We're bringing back old favourites like the Dice Game, Pass the Parcel, Potato Cakes, Coles Radio, and tournaments for your favourite video games! We'll also be doing another raffle to raise money for Wildlife Victoria where you can win a complete HTC Vive VR set!

We're also including some new things like a Lego building contest, The Big Rhino, and more.

We think The Big LAN represents great value for money as every ticket includes entry to all our tournaments, lunch and dinner, and a wide array of side events.

Date: October 1st, 2022
Location: Mitcham Baptist Church (8-12 Simla St, Mitcham) with free parking available
Time: 10AM - 10PM
Cost: $15 - Console/AFK | $20 - BYO PC ($13/$18 with discount)
Food: Fully catered at no extra cost.

This event is 18+ only and is a drug and alcohol free event.

    Those were the days… Except back then it was 12pm to 12pm… Gaming at 3:45am while hyped on your 8th can of red bull while someone next to you is under the desk snoring at 100db is something else.

      Lol never had that, did have a random drunk go around popping everyone car tyres in the car park. They found him, got him arrested.

      The dumb ass had his car parked there too, when the cops left, the people impacted got revenge on his car.. Tyres, windows and all.. Good times

        Valhalla's were legendary. All nighter lans are the best.

        The first LAN I went to with friends was Coven around 1996 at Adelaide Uni. Coaxial BNC and T-pieces everywhere and 4 days of non-stop lanning. Good times. C&C Original and Warcraft 2.

    Oh this would be awesome! Obviously a big advantage of lans in the day was ping which is negated with fast internet these days but the atmosphere is something you don't get online.
    I miss lan weekends, just don't miss the smell lol.

      Still a lot of ping benefits to LAN. But more importantly, we have industrial strength ventilation, no issues with smell.
