  • Good price, same at Dans as well for members

  • Purchased quite a few 18year olds with 25-30% discount when they were priced around $90. Paid less than $75 each

  • Pretty sure the 15 is terrible but the 18 is great.

    • Isn't that the always the case ?

  • Poison

    • Yummy poison

    • To the non drinker yeah but us drinkers loves the poison.

  • Tried the 12 years aged and it was so rough! Would this is smoother? What about in comparison to Dimple?

please do not give them wrong advice, you might end up making them commit sodoku

    • All foods are Halal unless they are Haram (which means prohibited or unlawful). For example, all fruit and vegetables are Halal unless they are contaminated with Haram substances or the production plant contains Haram substances.

There's no meat contaminants at all in production of alcohol.

So the question is are alcohols itself Haram to you?

  • Can i buy 12 years and let it become 18 after 6 years?

I assume you are asking genuinely. If so, no. Whiskey is not like wine. It does not age further once bottled. The flavours come from sitting in and interactions within the barrel.

      • really? this video seems to disagree with that statement, he says that the old red label could be mistaken for a single malt, which he attributes to how long it's been sitting in the bottle (at around the 4:30 mark)

        • He isn't saying that the older bottle is better because it has aged, he is saying that Johnnie Walker Red Label was a much better drink than the stuff they sell these days.

          • @videoman: he did say that scotch is better in years where it isn't as popular, but he also said, at around the 4:30 minute mark, that the taste had improved, it had lost some of the harshness, because of the fact that it had been sitting in the bottle for a long time.

            • @[Deactivated]: There's plenty of articles online and on youtube - believe what you will. Heaps of details that will affect your opinion.
