Powered USB Hub for Chromcast with Google TV?

Hi all,
I’m looking at a cheap powered usb hub that I can use to add storage to my Chromecast.
Apparently it needs to be powered aswell.
Would also like an Ethernet port as my modem is behind the tv so I may as well plug it straight into the Chromecast via the hub.
Anyone with any experience doing this got any tips?

  • There are many inexpensive powered USB hubs available on the market that you can use to add storage to your Chromecast. Some popular options include the Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, the Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, and the UGREEN USB Hub. These hubs are all powered, which means that they will be able to provide enough power to drive an external hard drive or USB flash drive. You can simply connect the powered USB hub to your Chromecast using a USB cable, and then connect your storage device to the USB hub. This will allow you to access the files on your storage device through your Chromecast. Keep in mind that not all storage devices are compatible with the Chromecast, so you may need to check the compatibility of your specific device before purchasing a powered USB hub.
