    great price, back order tho

worth to add the Oly 12-45mm pro is $517 https://www.amazon.com.au/OLYMPUS-Mirrorless-M-Zuiko-Digital…

    • That's cheap

    • I just bought these two second hand (advertised as unused new in the box) last week.
      Anyhow, happy with them nonetheless.

Excellent camera. Rugged as. Very responsive and fast, especially with burst photos. IBIS is good enough to shoot fireworks handheld. Love the built in ND filter too. Speaking from experience.

  • The camera itself is amazing. But I was really desappointed to see that there was no seal on my camera box, and when I firstly started the camera, I checked the shutter count and it was at 259 !! So the camera was not brand new as advertised !

    • It is weird that Olympus do not seal their boxes, not for body not lenses.

259 is a bit high, but some companies try bodies and they have low count for testing (not sure why).

Was this from Amazon? you could have send it back.

      • I just copied and pasted a customer review on Amazon.

      • It is weird that Olympus do not seal their boxes

Seems to be normal. I have seen brand new Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon and Fujifilm in unsealed boxes as well.

        • I got 2 Sony lenses and they all were sealed, camera body too. not sure about the other brands that you mentioned

          • @snvl: New A7 IV and A7R IV came in unsealed boxes.

            • @Buy2Much: Online or store? wonder if online send them sealed.

              • @snvl: Purchased online from Sony (can't resist temptation when there was price match and SB/CR cash back combined) … Mind you the 24-70mm F2.8 lens did come in sealed box.

    • I checked the shutter count and it was at 259

Olympus standard QA. Well documented if you google online: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4475356
Speaking from experience, all of the new Olympus I owned over the years came with shutter count in the hundreds.

      • I purchased this model camera last week privately (they said it was unused and purchased from Digidirect ebay) also had a shutter count of 259 out of the box, and had a blue adhesive film on the shutter button

Mine came from No Frills/Ryda eBay store and had shutter count a few hundreds, everything looked brand new. Which was why I googled up and found other people's comments in dpreview forum.

  • Looks like already sold out

  • If you missed out deal above, currently on eBay, $1583.12 delivered after 12% off code. Still an excellent price and you don't wait 2 months.
