YouTube Homepage Missing Categories

Hi
Does anyone know how to add different categories to YouTubes homepage. I use to have ten or more categories show up on the homepage, I now have four. Recommended, new to you, recently uploaded and characters. I use to have a gaming category, podcast category, my subscription category plus others. I have searched for the answer through Google but I cannot find the answer, they more want to tell you how to modify your own homepage if you are a uploader to YouTube. Or is it a problem with YouTube that will eventually be fixed? It has only been happening for the week or so (maybe a bit longer, time slips by quick)

  this is by design, they intentionally make the youtube experience worse with every update. you are not the customer, you are the product.

    Eventually it will just be a page with an auto loading ad video that you can't pause, mute or close.

    It's so hard to find anything that isn't clickbait nonsense these days.

  I find Youtube quite difficult to navigate anyway. Their advanced search is rubbish.
