How Do I Connect Jabra Elite Wireless Headphones on a Qantas/ Emirates Flight?

Hi,
I have upgraded my noise-cancelling headphones to Jabra Elite Active wireless earbuds. This month I am travelling to Dubai and on to Europe on a Qantas / Emirates flight. Can I use the headphones on the plane and how do I connect them to the inflight entertainment without cables?
Thank you for you help.

  • You can get a bluetooth transmitter (which plugs into the plane's headphone socket), but AFAIK they are all rechargeable so the long flights could be an issue unless you can plug it into a charger as well. Otherwise take your old noise-cancelling headphones or use the ones on the plane.

Obv for domestic where your phone/tablet is the entertainment screen, you just connect the buds to your device as normal.

    • I have already sold my wired over-ear headphones, thinking it was old technology😁

  • +1

I bought one of these earlier in the year, worked a treat. International flight with air pods pro made life easy.

    • Thank you for your reply. Now I know what I am looking for. Is the Tao comparable with the airfly?
