These are given out periodically. They're targetted.

  • -1

    which ones are good?

  • Suggestions? Good time to dust off my quest 2

    • +1

Check out battle talent - I paid for blade and sorcery Nomad and I find this free to play one soooo much better lol

  • +2

    Targeted :(

      Ahh bugger, sorry mate!

  • I have about $5 credit, might as well use it with this code. Any recommendations? I already have beat Saber, Vader Immortal I and job simulator.

    • +1

      Code doesn't work anyway.

    • Last time I tried, seems that you couldn't stack codes with credit. On an unrelated note, maybe you could try the sequel to Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator?

      • Job simulator is more for my kids, I don't play it much.

I'm thinking of getting Eleven Table tennis even though the code doesn't work, I've seen good reviews.

      • +1

You can stack codes and credit. I did it this morning to get The Last Clockwinder

    • If you don’t have Walkabout Minigolf, what are you even doing?

      • +1

Do you have to buy any of the add-ons or is it good enough without them?

        • +1

It’s just great without them and you can play those courses as a guest when you play multiplayer with someone who bought them. So if you join a discord game on those you can check those out for free.

      Red Matter 2 was awesome!

      • Thanks, some good recommendations, shame they all cost money haha

      • So jealous. I tried red matter 1 and almost threw up after 10mins. Super dizzy. Why some human can stand this and me can't?

  • Got mine last week too.. just in time for bone lab!

    • Same, got it the day BONELAB came out :)

Also had some referral credit left, so it only cost me $8

      • Same

    • Mine expired the day before bone lab 🙃

      • Not 100% sure, but if you have humble bundle I believe they sell it there, possibly for Oculus? So you get a 15-20% discount with membership

Had my quest for a year. Even ignored emails and the shop (didn't even boot up the device) for the last few months. No emails with codes have ever come my way… What do you have to do to get them?

    • Not sure mate, my last purchase was Red Matter 2 back in August. This just popped in to my inbox this arvo.

    • You have to use your quest periodically, I don't get any discount codes for the times I left my quest powered off for months at a time.

      • Good to know. Thanks

  • +1

I have received this code same time every month for the last 5 months according to my email inbox. And I use the code, and that is the only purchase I make each month - with this code.

  • Haven’t received the email with the code in two years since getting the headset at launch

  • Get these every month.

    • +1

Seems to be a mixed bag. I've got it for first time after 4 months. Others never at all, yourself monthly. Weird targeting system they have!

  • +1

These are extremely targeted and the same code every time, so not worth posting here.

      • +2

I’m not, but stand by the fact that this shouldn’t be posted as nobody can use the code as it’s locked to an individual and only get sent out on a highly selective basis. Also everyone who’s into VR knows about it, it’s been a thing for over 3 years, it’s basically a lottery dip if you get one sent to you.

        • -2

So, a targeted deal then, which it's flagged as. Still a deal.

          • +2

@The Judge: It was targeted to you personally. It’s not a deal to anyone else. These codes are never sent out on mass like other targeted deals from other companies. Also as it’s a standard code it’s been posted here many times before, it’s nothing new.

            • -1

              @pixxelpusher:

              targeted to you personally
              it's a standard code

              Make your mind up already.

              • @The Judge: Read what I said again. It's a standard code yes. It's been know about for 3 years and posted here multiple times. But it only ever gets sent out to individuals like yourself at a very selective and random time. I've never known others to get it at the same time as myself for instance.

Very different to a targeted marketing campaign where higher number of people are targeted at once, say 20-50% of people may get a code.

                • @pixxelpusher: How do you know the proportion of people receiving the code isn't as high as what you quote as a "targeted campaign"? The distribution seems totally random based on the comments here…some never got it, others several times, others after a few weeks/months… you don't have enough evidence to support your claim that it's a niche deal.

  • +1

    No deal :(

Shame they use a generic code but still manage to lock it so effectively

    • +1

Sorry mate, I got Golf+ for $36…you'll get one next time.

      • +1

Yeah hopefully can use for Bonelabs and later for NFL Pro Era.

        Enjoy Golf+!

Hopefully theyll release the app referral program to Australia soon!
